Quick Start: Your First Wall of Love in 5 Minutes

This guide walks you through the fastest path from signing up to having a live Wall of Love on your website. No fluff — just the essential steps.

Minute 1: Sign Up and Create Your Workspace

  1. Go to the Loveboard sign-up page
  2. Enter your name, email, and password
  3. Click Sign Up
  4. Name your workspace (e.g., your company name) and set a slug
  5. Click Continue

Minute 2: Create a Collection Form

  1. During onboarding, you'll be prompted to create a form
  2. Choose Both (text and video) for maximum flexibility
  3. Add your company logo and a headline like "Share your experience!"
  4. Keep the default fields (Name, Email, Company, Job Title)
  5. Click Save

Minute 3: Add a Few Testimonials

While you wait for real customer submissions, seed your wall with a few testimonials:

  1. Go to Testimonials in the sidebar
  2. Click Add Testimonial
  3. Enter a customer's name, a star rating, and their review text
  4. Click Save
  5. Repeat for 2-3 more testimonials
  6. Approve each testimonial (click on it and click Approve)

Only approved testimonials appear in embeds.

Minute 4: Create a Wall of Love

  1. Go to Embeds in the sidebar
  2. Click Create Embed
  3. Select Wall of Love
  4. Choose a layout: Masonry (recommended), Grid, or List
  5. Name it (e.g., "Homepage Wall of Love")
  6. Click Create
  7. In the embed editor, customize:
    • Theme — Light, Dark, or Auto
    • Accent Color — Match your brand color
    • You can adjust other settings later
  8. Click Save

Minute 5: Embed on Your Website

  1. In the embed editor, click Get Embed Code
  2. Copy the script tag:

  1. Paste it into your website's HTML where you want the Wall of Love to appear
  2. Save and publish your website
  3. Refresh the page — your testimonials are now live!

  • Share your collection form — Send the public URL to customers to collect real testimonials
  • Approve new testimonials — As submissions come in, approve them and they'll automatically appear on your wall
  • Customize further — Adjust filters, styling, and layout in the embed editor
