Duplicating a Form

Duplicating a form creates an exact copy with all settings preserved. This is useful when you want to create a similar form for a different audience, product, or campaign without starting from scratch.

How to Duplicate

1. Go to Forms in the sidebar
2. Find the form you want to duplicate
3. Click the three-dot menu (⋯) or the Duplicate action
4. A new form is created with all settings copied:
   • Form type (text/video/both)
   • Header settings (logo, headline, subtext)
   • Custom fields and their configuration
   • Thank-you page settings
   • GDPR/consent settings
5. The duplicate gets a new name (usually the original name with "Copy" appended) and a new slug
6. Edit the name, slug, and any settings you want to change
7. Save

What Gets Duplicated

• Form type (text, video, both)
• Header customization (logo, headline, subtext)
• All custom fields (type, label, required/optional, default values)
• Thank-you page configuration
• GDPR consent settings
• Description and website URL

What Doesn't Get Duplicated

• Testimonials — The new form starts with zero submissions
• Analytics — Views and submission counts start at zero
• Slug — A new unique slug is generated

When to Duplicate

• Multiple products — Create one form per product, starting from a template
• A/B testing — Duplicate a form, change the headline or fields, and compare conversion rates
• Campaigns — Create temporary forms for specific campaigns while keeping your main form intact
• Localization — Duplicate and modify for different languages or regions

Deleting a Form

Deleting a form permanently removes it from your workspace.

How to Delete

1. Go to Forms in the sidebar
2. Find the form you want to delete
3. Click the three-dot menu (⋯) or the Delete action
4. Confirm the deletion

What Happens When You Delete

• The form is permanently removed — this cannot be undone
• The public URL stops working immediately
• Any links you've shared will show a "not found" page
• Testimonials are NOT deleted — All testimonials collected through the form remain in your workspace
• Embeds that referenced this form will show remaining testimonials from other forms (if any)

Before You Delete

• Make sure you don't have active links to the form being shared anywhere
• Consider if you just need to pause collection — there's no "disable" feature, but you can simply stop sharing the link
• If you want to preserve the form's configuration for later, duplicate it first
