Is Loveboard free?

Yes. The Free plan includes unlimited text testimonials, 3 video testimonials, 1 collection form, and 1 Wall of Love embed. No credit card required. You can start collecting and displaying testimonials immediately.

What is Loveboard used for?

Loveboard helps businesses collect customer testimonials (text and video) and display them on their websites using embeddable widgets like Wall of Love, Carousel, Single Testimonial, and Badge.

Do my customers need to create an account?

No. Customers submit testimonials through your public form URL. They never need to sign up for Loveboard or download anything.

Which browsers are supported?

Loveboard works on all modern browsers: Chrome (recommended), Firefox, Edge, and Safari. Video recording is supported on all of these browsers on both desktop and mobile.

Can I use Loveboard on mobile?

Yes. Both the admin dashboard and public forms are fully responsive. Customers can submit text and video testimonials from their phones or tablets.

Forms

How do I share my form with customers?

Each form has a unique public URL. Copy it from the Forms page and share it via email, social media, messaging apps, or embed it on your website.

Can I create multiple forms?

On the Free plan, you can create 1 form. Pro and Business plans allow unlimited forms.

Can I customize which fields appear on the form?

Yes. You can add, remove, and configure custom fields with types like text, email, phone, number, dropdown, and checkbox. Each field can be required or optional.

Can I change the form language?

Yes. Forms support locale settings for multi-language use.

Can I use a custom domain for my forms?

Custom domain support is available on Pro and Business plans.

What happens to testimonials if I delete a form?

Testimonials collected through the form are not deleted. They remain in your workspace.

Video Testimonials

Does my customer need to install an app?

No. Video recording happens directly in the browser using the device's camera and microphone. No app, plugin, or download is required.

What's the maximum video length?

2 minutes on all plans (Free, Pro, Business).

Where are videos stored?

Videos are securely stored on Cloudflare's global CDN, ensuring fast delivery and reliable access worldwide.

Can customers re-record their video?

Yes. After recording, customers see a preview and can choose to re-record as many times as they want before submitting.

What if my customer's camera doesn't work?

If your form type is set to "Both," customers can fall back to submitting a text testimonial instead. See our Video Recording Troubleshooting guide for common fixes.

How many video testimonials can I collect?

Free: 3, Pro: Unlimited, Business: Unlimited.

Embeds

Can I add an embed to any website?

Yes. The JavaScript widget works on any website that supports HTML and JavaScript — WordPress, Webflow, Squarespace, Wix, Shopify, custom sites, and more.

Can I remove the Loveboard logo from my embed?

Yes, on Pro and Business plans. The Free plan includes "Powered by Loveboard" branding on all embeds.

Can I customize the embed theme?

Yes. Choose from Light, Dark, or Auto (matches the visitor's OS preference). You can also customize the accent color, card style (bordered, shadowed, minimal), and layout.

What embed types are available?

Four types: Wall of Love (grid/masonry layout), Carousel (scrollable row), Single Testimonial (one featured review), and Badge (compact rating display).

Can I filter which testimonials appear?

Yes. Filter by form, testimonial type (text/video), and minimum star rating. Only approved testimonials are shown.

Can I have multiple embeds on the same page?

Yes. Each embed operates independently based on its configuration.

Do embeds slow down my website?

No. Embeds load asynchronously and are lazy-loaded, so they don't block your page from rendering.

Testimonials

Are testimonials public by default?

No. New testimonials start with a "New" status and are not visible on your website. You must approve them before they appear in embeds.

Can I recover a deleted testimonial?

No. Deletion is permanent. If you're unsure, use Archive instead — archived testimonials can be restored later.

Can I add testimonials manually?

Yes. Go to Testimonials → Add Testimonial. You can enter customer name, rating, review text, and custom fields. Manual additions are text-only.

Can I export my testimonials?

Yes. Go to Settings → Workspace → Export Data. All testimonials are downloaded as a JSON file.

Billing

Can I downgrade my plan?

Yes. Manage your subscription through the Stripe customer portal (Settings → Billing → Manage Billing).

What payment methods are accepted?

All major credit and debit cards through Stripe (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, etc.).

Is there an annual billing option?

Yes. Pro is $23/month (save 21%) and Business is $79/month (save 20%) when billed annually.

Is there a refund policy?

Stripe subscription refunds are handled by our support team. Contact us for assistance.

Team & Workspace

How many team members can I add?

Free: 1 (owner only), Pro: Unlimited, Business: 5.

Can I have multiple workspaces?

Free: 1 workspace. Pro and Business: Unlimited.

What happens when I remove a team member?

They immediately lose access to the workspace. Their past actions (created forms, approved testimonials) remain intact.

Can I transfer workspace ownership?

Yes. Only the current owner can transfer ownership to another member of the workspace.

Data & Privacy

Is my data secure?

Yes. Loveboard uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure session management, and stores data on enterprise-grade infrastructure (MongoDB Atlas, Cloudflare).

Is Loveboard GDPR compliant?

Loveboard supports GDPR compliance by offering configurable consent checkboxes and privacy policy links on collection forms. You are responsible for ensuring your data collection practices comply with applicable laws.

What happens to my data if I delete my workspace?

All data (forms, testimonials, embeds, analytics) is permanently deleted. Export your data before deleting if you need to preserve it.

Can I export all my data?

Yes. Go to Settings → Workspace → Export Data to download all testimonials as a JSON file.
