Every Loveboard embed can be customized to match your website's design.

This guide covers all the appearance options available in the embed editor.

The Embed Editor

When you create or edit an embed, you'll see a split-view editor:

• Left panel — Settings and configuration options
• Right panel — Live preview that updates in real time as you change settings

Theme

Choose how the embed's color scheme behaves:

Light

White or light-colored background with dark text. Works best on light-themed websites.

Dark

Dark background with light text. Works best on dark-themed websites or dark sections of your page.

Auto

Automatically detects the visitor's operating system preference (light mode or dark mode) and adjusts accordingly. This is the best choice if your website also supports light/dark mode.

Accent Color

The accent color is used for:

• Star rating icons
• Interactive elements (hover states, buttons)
• Highlight elements

The default accent color is orange. Click the color picker to choose any color. For best results, use your brand's primary color.

Tips:

• Make sure your accent color has enough contrast with the background
• Test both light and dark themes if using Auto mode
• Stick to your brand color for consistency

Card Style

Each testimonial is displayed as a "card." Choose the card's visual treatment:

Bordered

Cards have a visible border (usually a subtle gray line). Creates clear visual separation between testimonials. Clean and professional.

Shadowed

Cards have a subtle drop shadow. Gives a slight 3D effect that makes cards feel elevated above the background. Modern and polished.

Minimal

No border, no shadow. Cards rely purely on spacing for separation. Feels integrated and subtle. Best when you want the testimonials to blend into the page rather than looking like distinct widgets.

Content Filters

Control which testimonials appear in the embed:

Form Selection

• All Forms — Shows testimonials from every form in your workspace
• Specific Form — Only shows testimonials submitted through the selected form

Use specific form filtering when you have multiple products or services, each with their own collection form.

Testimonial Type

• All — Shows both text and video testimonials
• Text Only — Hides video testimonials
• Video Only — Hides text testimonials

Minimum Rating

Only display testimonials with ratings at or above the threshold. This ensures your embeds only show your best reviews.

• No minimum — Shows all ratings (1-5 stars)
• 3+ stars — Hides 1 and 2-star reviews
• 4+ stars — Only shows highly positive reviews (recommended)
• 5 stars only — Only shows perfect ratings

Page Settings (Wall of Love)

These settings are specific to the Wall of Love embed:

Page Title

A heading displayed above the testimonial grid. Leave empty to show no title.

Examples:

• "What Our Customers Say"
• "Trusted by Thousands"
• "Real Stories from Real Users"

Page Subtitle

A subheading below the title for additional context.

Examples:

• "Join over 1,000 happy customers"
• "Honest feedback from businesses like yours"

Show/Hide Stats

Toggle the statistics bar that shows:

• Average star rating
• Total number of reviews
• Recommendation rate (percentage of high ratings)

Stats add credibility — visitors can see at a glance how many people have reviewed you and what the overall sentiment is.

Saving Changes

After making changes in the embed editor, click Save to publish your updates. Changes take effect immediately — visitors to your website will see the updated embed on their next page load.
