Carousel Embed

The Carousel embed displays testimonials in a scrollable horizontal row.

It's perfect for sections where you want to show social proof without taking up too much vertical space — like homepage hero sections, sidebars, or above-the-fold areas.

How It Works

The carousel shows one or a few testimonial cards at a time. Visitors can scroll through testimonials manually, or the carousel can auto-scroll at a configurable speed.

Creating a Carousel

  1. Go to EmbedsCreate Embed
  2. Select Carousel
  3. Name your embed and set a slug
  4. Click Create
  5. Configure the carousel in the embed editor

Configuration Options

Auto-Scroll

  • Enabled — Testimonials automatically advance at regular intervals
  • Disabled — Visitors scroll through manually using navigation controls

Scroll Speed

When auto-scroll is enabled, choose the speed:

  • Slow — Testimonials advance slowly, giving visitors more time to read
  • Medium — Balanced speed (recommended)
  • Fast — Testimonials advance quickly, best for short testimonials

Dot Indicators

  • Show — Navigation dots appear below the carousel, indicating the current position and total number of testimonials
  • Hide — No dots shown, cleaner appearance

Content Filters

Same as Wall of Love:

  • Form Selection — All forms or a specific form
  • Testimonial Type — All, Text Only, or Video Only
  • Minimum Rating — Filter by minimum star rating

Appearance

  • Theme — Light, Dark, or Auto
  • Accent Color — Customize the primary color
  • Card Style — Bordered, Shadowed, or Minimal

Embedding on Your Website

Copy and paste the embed code into your website's HTML:

<script src="https://app.loveboard.io/public/widget.js" data-workspace="your-workspace-slug" data-embed="your-embed-slug"></script>

Tips for a Great Carousel

  • Use auto-scroll for passive viewing — visitors who don't manually interact will still see multiple testimonials
  • Set speed to Medium for the best balance between readability and engagement
  • Show dot indicators so visitors know there are more testimonials to see
  • Use short, punchy testimonials — Carousel cards have limited space, so shorter quotes work better here
  • Include at least 5 testimonials — Fewer than that makes the carousel feel empty
  • Match the theme to your surrounding section for seamless integration
