The Badge embed

The Badge embed is a compact widget that displays your average rating and total review count. It adds instant credibility with minimal screen real estate — perfect for headers, footers, navigation bars, and product pages.

When to Use a Badge

• Website header or footer — Show your rating next to your logo
• Navigation bar — Add credibility that's visible on every page
• Product pages — Display review count near the buy button
• Landing pages — Quick social proof without a full testimonial section
• Email signatures — Link to your testimonial page with a visual badge

Badge Shapes

Pill

A rounded, capsule-shaped badge. Compact and modern. Works well inline with other elements.

Card

A small rectangular card. Slightly larger than the pill, gives more room for text.

Compact

The smallest option. Minimal footprint, just the essential rating number and star icon.

Creating a Badge

1. Go to Embeds → Create Embed
2. Select Badge
3. Name your embed and set a slug
4. Click Create
5. Configure the badge in the embed editor

Configuration Options

Content Filters

• Form Selection — Show data from all forms or a specific form
• Testimonial Type — Count all testimonials, text only, or video only
• Minimum Rating — Only count testimonials above a certain rating

Appearance

• Shape — Pill, Card, or Compact
• Theme — Light, Dark, or Auto
• Accent Color — Star and highlight color

What's Displayed

The badge shows:

• Average star rating — Calculated from all matching testimonials
• Total review count — Number of matching testimonials
• Star icons — Visual representation of the rating

Tips

• Place it where it's visible on every page — Headers and navigation bars ensure every visitor sees your rating
• Use the Pill shape for inline placement next to other elements
• Use the Card shape when the badge has its own section
• Filter by 4+ stars if you want to show a higher average
• Link the badge to your full Wall of Love page for visitors who want to read more
